A couple weeks ago I was contacted by Farmaline asking if I would like to review some products, of course I said yes. They are an online pharmacy and beauty retailer originating in Belgium but now in the UK. The products they sell including Bioderma, Apivita and La Roche Posay are all discounted. For example my beloved Effclar Duo retails for £13 in Boots but is available for £10.87 with a free 125ml gel on Farmaline.
The Lierac Sensorielle Gel Douche is essentially a shower gel but can be doubled up as a bubble bath. The first thing that I found when using this was how little I needed, it lathers so well that a thumb nail size amount is more than enough for my whole body. It also lived up to its moisture claim as my skin felt far more hydrated than normal when I got out the shower. A big plus for me as I am often a little sporadic on the body lotion front. When looking at it I first thought it would have a heavy floral scent but in fact it is light and refreshing.
In terms of ingredients Lierac say the three most important items are:
- 2% glycerin to deliver skin hydration and protection.
- Extracts of Jasmine, Gardenia, Camellia to deliver triple action – retexturizing, anti-oxidant and relaxing.
- Hard water, chlorine and salt neutralising agents to help keep skin soft and supple.
I am hoping that this lasts me a while as it lathers so well that I can justify a repurchase! What do you think about high end shower gels?
